Staff Bios

Douglas Ostrow
President

Douglas Ostrow has been working in the family business for more than 30 years and took over as president of the company in 1987. He received his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in 1983 and his focus on maximizing laundry efficiencies has made him a leader in the industry. He is the former chair of the Production and Engineering Committee of the Textile Rental Services Association, is active in HOSLIN, a strategic management association, and frequently contributes articles on production and quality issues to linen trade publications. Mr. Ostrow currently sits on the Chairman of TRSA.

Linda Burgman
Vice President and General Manager of Hospitality Division

Linda Burgman has worked at CleanCare for over 26 years in a variety of service, distribution, and operational positions, including quality team and personnel issues. Ms. Burgman is a member of the Managers Council of the Hospital Linen Cost Analysis Association, HOSLIN and Vice-Chair of the Healthcare Committee of the Textile Rental Service Association. She has spoken at several seminars on linen industry issues and has written articles for industry trade journals on linen and blood borne pathogens. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Frank Gundrum
G.M. HealthCare Divivsion

Frank Gundrum joined CleanCare in June of 2012. Frank has over 25 years related experience in the industry. In the past Frank has represented the industry as: General Manager with National Linen, Director of Operations with Paris Companies, General Manger and Service coordinator for Professional Laundry Systems, Service Manager for Vieldhouse Machinery, Service and Sales Representative for Gurtler Chemicals, and Corporate Engineer for United Linen Exchange who owned and operated four plants throughout the country. Frank served our country for 6 years as a Seabee in the United States Navy.

Robert Friedman
Director of Sales and Service

Robert Friedman has worked at Cleancare for 12 years in a variety of Sales, Service, and operational positions, and is now currently responsible for all Sales and Service activities. Mr. Friedman has been a member of the Medtegrity National Account Sales team for 6 years, and is currently a board member of the Western PA Restaurant Assoc.

Matthew Bowman
Service Manager

Matthew Bowman has worked for CleanCare for 8 years. His responsibilities include managing all delivery and service functions through training and customer service visitations. Mr. Bowman has a Bachelors Degree from St. Vincent College.

Gary Shepler
Controller/CFO

Gary Shepler joined CleanCare in 2011 after spending time in cost accounting and governmental accounting with various companies. Mr. Shepler is responsible for the overall Accounting and Finance function, while also overseeing Human Resources and Information Technologies. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University
